I've been following a thread on HDRCGB.....

this is the art of possible.......

before and WIP......

Well there you are then you see!

However, I get the feeling I am starting to know you well enough to realise what will happen...something along the lines of –

1. Angle grinder set up
2. Batwing fairing off
3. "God, thats windy isn't it"
4. "I'd really like a batwing fairing"

Have a go on mine both with and without screen on if you fancy. Preferably before any powered cutting tools come out!

Visit B&Q, spend an hour looking at Angle Grinders, buy cheap chinese copy and go home.
Read BSH looking for inspiration.
start up Angle grinder make first cut and burn tnhe thing out...

go back to B&Q, buy Ryobi version and repeat above.....

Grinder slips, cuts leg badly visit Accident and Emergency......


2. Batwing fairing off
OMG?>>>>>look at the wiring, start cutting and removing.... buy "kit" from ebay to "join" loose wires.... read electrical manual on bog..... Phone Auto Electrician and ask him to fix whilst i make the tea...... pay £300 bill

Think its time to trade in the 1150GS and put my "rolling project" MOT till 2013 on ebay...... go and buy a 2 year old 1200 GSA......

Only a semi. Have you considered Viagra if you have a little trouble in that department?

No No No, definetley not NFP! I am originally from the metropolis in that marvellous area of Pantshire and that condition would be NFS (work it out), in Pompey they would be mounting their animals in the time honoured fashion giving the creature no opportunity to lick the face, how disgusting.

Its a very clean 2001, 1150GS, yellow 37k sat nav/touratech tank bag/ HB expedition panniers full BMW SH till 24k Steptoe since......big 36k service done wants for nothing.... good paint etc...years MOT from last week....

Glide 1996 90k black, years MOT, two new Avon Venoms, very recent full service including all fluids, ...

I'll post a link from here showing the glide!! I,m away at the mo so can't sort GS

In truth, no I think I'd miss having both....some days are GS days others are HD days.....also I doubt my two added together would be 2006 road king territory......no spare cash so for these reasons I'm out....
