Hey Gordy nae mates! I might come if you don't mind. I've hardly been out on my new (last October) toy and maybe this is the chance. I've been down that track twice - once on a 250 Sherco and once on a 290 Sherco. Both times I had no time to stop to admire the view (SSDT of course) so this is my chance. I'm at a trial with the Montesa on Sunday but if I can get another day pass for tomorrow, I'll join you. Zat ok?

Great stuff. If Rustle turns up there'll be a fair crowd at this.

You ken whit they say: "Two's company..." :D

Gooseberry boy gets a day pass! See you crowds ramarra at the Lochy Gastrostop and Country Club.
My wife kindly, but teasingly, reminded me that I was out all last weekend on the trials bike, I'm out all this weekend on bikes, and next weekend I'm generously taking her to Fort Bill for the weekend prior to the Scottish Six Days Trial. I'm such a romantic.:augie

(Did I mention my wife is only just tolerant of road bikes and isn't at all interested in trials bikes? Ho hum. I keep telling her she's a lucky woman.)

Thanks for taking the time and effort to organise the run today Gordon. Had a feckin brilliant day oot, dont know how you managed to book the weather but it worked,:Motomartin great to meet up with Rab and Rustle, Once I am home I will post pics

Thanks again

Des

Well that was just a fine day out! (GC to the photo dept!) I arrived in the Fort before the appointed time, had a wee run around, then met GC, Fleetwood AND big Rab! GC fed us bacon and egg rolls (which had sufficiently soft yolks to spew all over my breeks) and sticky buns which was kind. We then set off, Rab dropping off in Corpach on other business. Us three then took to GC's secret track and in balmy weather and fine scenery we had a great trip, spoiled only by a barmy day tripper who accused us of spoiling his day out. We used diplomacy to encourage him to desist with his verbage whereas, we later agreed, Oonyack wid hae smacked him in the gob to save time! At Strontian, GC suddenly remembered he'd left the gas on and promptly gassed it to Ardgour. I followed on and poor Des with less cc's and nae screen was left behind, only just arriving as I decided to grab the Corran ferry. Sorry about the sudden departure lads, I had a friend's birthday party to make. Thanks again GC and maybe we'll meet again Des. Top day out and a recommended trip to you who missed this one. :thumb2 Door to door 250 miles exactly and every one a delight - dry, grippy and warm. Montesa 4RT all day tomorrow! Life's braw.:)

Des/Rustle, your very welcome. :thumb2
Had a word with the big man about the weather, but after Rab got fed n watered he fecked off. :D
Good seeing you the day Rab. Probably just as well you couldn’t make the run, not sure that you would have enjoyed the attention of the FEB on the track. :blast :eek
A few pics.
