I’ve only had my RM for 10 days and approaching 3k miles already. It was a 630 mile ride home from the dealers, currently halfway through a trip that went from the Highlands to Wales then across to Ireland and now working my way around the Wild Atlantic Way.
I’m two up and despite the huge top box and panniers I still have another bag strapped to the rack.
Loving it so far, suspension very plush as long as you put the right pressure in it. Very comfy for all day riding. However best fuel consumption I’ve managed is only 43 mpg. Love that you can switch everything to KMs at the touch of a button, handy in euro countries.
It’s a handful to push about and slow tight manoeuvres but very nimble once on a roll.
Enjoy your new bike and use it as intended they are very capable bikes despite the huge mass and land barge appearance.
