woke up this morning at 4:30 am, looked outside, no frost on the car so saddled up and headed to Cashel to get a decent photo of the Rock of Cashel:
Leaving:
No heated grips, 5c, lead to a cold 2 hours on the bike. I pulled in after an hour to watch the sun rise behind me:
Rock of Cashel, it was worth nearly getting hypothermia
A humongous breakfast warmed me up for the trip home:
Not a bad way to spend a day off work
The kTm was flawless, it eats motorway miles. The saddle is comfy enough, it is a motorbike after all. If I wanted comfort and warmth, I would have taken the car. Tank range is a true 200 miles, a little less if you push beyond the speed limit.
