Rogue plug on 04 1150GSA

Any ideas where or what this is supposed to be plugged into? If anything?

Carbon canister ? Found on US import bikes only.

Actually it’s official title is Tank breather valve connector , but carbon canister will do.

It’s fitted to all bikes irrespective of market.

The key thing, and this is the important bit. Make sure it’s well protected and secured where it cannot get chaffed. The green/white wire is the same power line for your injectors, fuel pump and lambda probe.

Thanks - i had exactly the same question as Tristafarian having seen iton my bike last week - I was tempted to plug something USB like in it, which now I know what it is, may not have been the best idea.
