Rollox! Shagged rear caliper

Just went to put new pads in the back of my bike to find one of the caliper bolts has stripped the thread in the caliper ( Jai'accuse BMW Istanbul but's thats whole other story ). Does anyone know if it's possible to replace the backing plate on the caliper or do I need a whole new caliper?

Yes. But i'm not sure if they're sold separately.

All the 1100/1150 GS rear calipers are the same.

If you dont manage to get it im prety damn sure a Helicoil will be fine

nice one, can you drain all the brake fluid out and remove the old pads and give it a good clean aswell to cut doon on the postage cost
