Roof Tents, any recommendations?

I’m looking for a quality roof tent to go on a LWB T6 Transporter.

I’ve looked at the Tentbox range and I like the Cargo and the Lite XL both of which have their advantages and disadvantages.

I was looking at the Latitude roof tents at the ABR last weekend, however the team who were there despite saying how simple and quick they were to erect and pack away couldn’t be arsed to demo it for me and told me I’d have to come back in two hours so they lost a potential customer there.

I’ve also been looking at some Vickywood roof tents which seem high quality but also very expensive.

My budget is going to be about the £2500 mark so if anyone has any personal recommendations or maybe even has one for sale, I’m all ears.

I have a Maggiolina on a T4 that I've been very happy with. Unfortunately my missus had a stroke so it's not really an option any more. I generally don't like selling stuff but I really should part with it if you are interested.

Maggiolina are the original roof top tent, everything else is a copy or variation of.

I had a Maggiolina Safari on top of my Land Cruiser and was more than happy with it.

Tentbox are good but you pay for it.
You’d go a long way to not seriously look at the new one’s Decathlon are doing. Especially with their warranty.

Costco have got some rather nice ones, there was an offer on them a while back but I think they are all well within your budget
