Advice needed, we are spending 7 days in morroco which I know is not enough time but we would like to see as much as possible. We are riding 1200gs,TDM x2 and have off road experiance but would prefer to stay on OK roads, Don't fancy my chances of scaling a dune on the GS!!. Can anyone surgest a route that we could cover in the 6-7 days and get a good flavour of Morroco. Also can you recomend a Hotel for our first night that is near Chefchaouen area. Regards Scroot

UPDATE

I not sure if I made it clear but we do not want to ride on all sealed roads, would be nice to do some pistes.

Seriously, I'd advise, but I'm sure I'd confuse you when I tell you to head
straight for "Thurles".:nenau We did a nice bit of both tarmac and piste,
saw the Cascades, the Dunes, the Dades and Todra Gorges, do you want
the tracklog ?
Amazing place, I'm going back next year, for a month !:bounce1 :bounce1 :bounce1 :bounce1

A few KM from chefchouen you'll turn off the main road and head towards the city, following the sign posts. There's a nice auberge/hostel 2 or 3 KM along the road on the left hand side. Can't remember the name but it's a good sized blue painted building, with a HOSTEL sign mounted on top.
We paid 14 euros for a nice clean twin room, and you can get them to call you a taxi if you want to take a walk around the city in the evening (highly recommended).
If you want an upmarket, western style hotel then go into the city and follow the signs for the Atlas Hotel, which is on top of the hill overlooking the city.
