..)Whats the odds eh? Going on past form this year I don't hold out much hope![]()

If you've managed to get to the Stirling area ahead of time, you may wish to include a wee 'D-Tour' via Aberfoyle...
Take the A821 north out of the Village on the route known as the 'Dukes Pass', brings you out north of Callander where you would have been anyway....a cracker full of twists and turns and great scenery....![]()
Agree with most of what is above Kev, however, the A68 through Jedburgh and up to Edinburgh is covered with speed cameras. Get to Hawick and take the A7 to Edinburgh. With the exception of a camera van at the village of Stow (30mph limit), there are no fixed speed camera's on the A7.

Just working out my route for this Fridays trip up to Oonyackistan, and wondering if there any advantages in getting the ferry from Mallaig to Armadale, instead of heading for Kyle of Lochalsh and taking the bridge?

It's a much nicer road both on and off the little ferry. Plus you get to ride on a tiny ferry, feels more like visiting an island rather than just an extension of the mainland![]()
Are you getting all this Kev? My eyes are glazing over.
Am I not following you then?
If I lead will you be tail ender and pick up any stragglers?
I'll bring the hi-viz vests![]()

Not too fast though, we'll have company![]()
