Using tyre to create a route of say 30 miles & with say 15 waypoints I send to Zumo 350LM & off I go, within 50yds I notice that there is a straight line to the next waypoint & not the squiggly road I'm meant to be on, after passing that waypoint the next is also a straight line towards it.
I've got the settings on motorcycle but NOT OFFROAD what could be the problem ?

You are starting in Tyre software and finishing up in another.

If I had to guess, you have created a route on a PC using map version X (I think Tyre is Google maps based) then sent it to a GPS device using map version Y.

The device is unable to match the roads to the waypoints, so simply draws straight lines between the waypoints.

Things to do / try:

1. Make sure that the map sets match on your PC and on the GPS device. Then reimport the route again.

2. I am not familiar with the 350LM. If it has a recalculate option, ask it to make a recalculation to see if it will sort it out.

3. Tyre probably exports the file in a .gpx format, which should be viewable on a PC running Garmin software. Open the route on your PC, make sure it looks OK, save it as a .gbd file and then export it to the device.
