So I've entered an address, found the destination, done the journey & arrived at the destination. Now I want to reverse the route which was easy peasy on my old Quest, highlight the route/hit menu/reverse route. Doesn't seem to offer this option on the Zumo 550.

Perhaps its me, no its definately me :blast please could someone tell me how I find this option.

I would like to know this one to. Have not managed to find it yet in two years on my 550!

You can look as hard as you want to but you won't find it.

You can't reverse a route on a Zumo.

If it's a route you pre-plotted in Mapsource you can duplicate and invert it there and save it as "reversed route".

You can, but it's not as simple as the Quest - altho saying that I used to forget how to do it and spend ages clicking thru all the options trying to work out how to do it, knowing I'd done it before..........:blast, so it's maybe as easy :augie

Assuming you've just ridden somewhere with the unit on, doesn't matter if you've followed a route or not.

Select "spanner", "user data", "manage trip log", "save as a route";

You then select the last the trip segment - it's all in date/time order.*

It'll save it as "imported route" & give you the option to preview, share, edit etc, or you just his "go!" and voila!

* Obviously if you've done a massive trip and want to retrace the whole lot, you'll have to save several routes - you can rename them to a number order

there appears to be a solution by dave 726 (second to last post).

I still stall at the line:

"Manual Reorder - exchange start and end points."

how do you exchange start and end points?

tom

Bit like my post above.

Do;

"where to"

"routes"

pick the route you want

"edit"

"manual reorder"

select point to move - ie your start point

scroll down to the bottom of the route

select the bottom green "+" symbol

select the original end point.

scroll to the top of the route

select the top green "+" symbol

select "back" and it will start calculating

when it's done, select "back" again to come out of the edit bit.

It should have the route summary in front of you

Select "preview" to have a look at it.

If all seems okay, either select "go" or "back" until your back to the where to/view map screen.

I've just done this with the gps in front of me - let us know if it does/doesn't work or you. :thumb2
