If you have got time dont go near the A9 ,The point of going to Ullapool is the fantastic roads and many diverse routes and the A9 aint one especially on a gs ,its made for better things which we have plenty of,twisties.

I totally agree. Sandra and I are now at our friends house in Kyleakin with two days worth of riding behind us. The sun has shone all day up here (sunday), we've met a few characters and we've had a great time.

BTW we stuck to plan A and came up our nornal route avoiding the A9
