Routing to private road

I wonder if it really is closed to the public, or whether somebody has just slapped two signs up.

That was my thought. There’s one like that near me, public road but someone just put homemade signs up. I use it to spite them.

I have tried the OP’s route on my iPhone, using the soon to be defunct Navigation app.

It offered up something very different, but at least it avoided the private road.

Yes, that was me. I fixed at the time by starting just outside the port.

Aha, I see you told us that in your opening post. My apologies.

The good news is that the separate navigation app will become redundant in a month or so. The new app (which is just finishing beta testing) does away with it entirely. Everything will be linked back to the cloud based site.
