Rox adjustable bar risers

Mine has the whole back end stripped out for powder coat. If I can work out how to safely support the engine I'll take the front subframe off as well. The fork yoke will have to come off so I might pick up some tips.

Thanks

I assume that powder coating has been forced upon you by BMW's total indifference to paint failure? The paint started bubbling off the engine and gearbox on my 2011 GSA within a year and BMW were totally dissmissive. Saw another at the same time where the rocker covers looked like part-chewed Aero bars, again no interest from BMW. Great bikes? Hmmmm

Mechanical locking nuts are one shot items. eBay or a fasteners factors should have them.

You "could" temporarily put them back for riding to the dealer but don't leave the old ones for long as they risk shaking loose.

Just had the bike serviced (Brian Giles) and asked about fitting the Rox Risers. Brian says that he wouldn't like to route the clutch line outside the left fork and would fit a longer (Goodrich or similar) replacement hose. But he also observed that the position of the banjo bolt where the brake line attaches to the frame - just behind the steering head - precludes re-routing the brake line, i.e. it's possible that I'd need a longer brake line too. Pants!

Has anyone used these risers which give a less dramatic lift:
