I have fitted lowered pegs to my R850R which has reduced the distance between footrest and lever, making it awkward to change up. Looking at pics of the standard levers on the other bikes I think the RT lever may do the job. Would somebody be so kind as to take a couple of measurements for me so I can check that the lengths will be suitable?
I need from centre of main pivot point to location where the angle adjuster ‘ball’ is, plus from that same ball to the centre of the bit you actually move with your foot i.e. where the rubber tube is.

When I fitted a peg lowering kit to my 1150R, Motorworks supplied an extender to screw in to the existing gear change linkage. This allowed me to position the lever to where I wanted it.
It came as a part of a kit, but it was only a threaded tube with a threaded extension on one end.

I have one of those. It is the horizontal proximity of the peg to the gear change that is the problem.
