Also, looking at the shock as currently fitted, (probably the original BMW shock, or a Mbins part), the tyre seems very close to the spring. Did not measure but will do.

I rebuilt the wheels a while back. Did I get the hub/rim offset incorrect?

Anybody - What is the hub/rim offset, measured from the machined brake lining face?

Well I measured the tyre / spring gap:

Standard BMW shock and spring,
Standard Tyre 120/90x18,
Gap is 5 mm.

Is that normal?
