Don't think I'd be happy for long at very much over a ton on my 1150GSA, not that I've tried, but my 1200RT feels solid as a rock at 130+. YMMV as they used to say.

Changing styles of bike always feels a bit strange for a hundred miles or so. The RT definitely feels a bit weird after I've been riding the GSA exclusively for a while but I soon get in the groove.

It's been known for dealer bikes to have low tyre pressure and poorly adjusted headlights.
I took a GS out and had similar thoughts, wanted my RT back.

Think you all must be under estimating the speed it's more aerodynamic than my 1200GS. Fully loaded panniers, tent etc is much faster than that...
