having just done a 700 mile round trip and occasionaly having numb feet i remember reading on here somwhere about using rubber peg inserts off another bike. Can someone let me know if i have been dreaming or not and if not what bike it was off and any othe relevant details! Cheers Neil

You could try this... Pan European footpegs... just needs a bit of a spacer making up as they're a bit smaller than the original pegs where the are fastened.

I think BMW do rubber inserts for the GSA footpegs... Im sure someone will provide number, and cost soon enough

I think you will find that this is what you need, as fitted to my 08 GSA.
Soles of my boots were getting chewed up.

They are for the G650 XCountry,

Pt. No. C46.71.7.696.748 rubbers
Pt. No. C46.71.7.696.948 counterhold
Pt.No. C07.11.9.902.745 nuts

took mine off and did a 4500 mile trip, with good boots, they made no difference

£20 it was, got mine orderd via SLM,, picked them up yesterday, fitted in 5 mins.
Now hopefully the sole of my boots will not suffer any more cuts.

Does anyone know if the wider GSA footpegs will fit on the 1200GS?, if so, i'll do the same to mine.
