Had my bag nicked just before the weekend which is irritating in itself :spitfire but at least I get to replace it with something nicer:thumb

Do people have any recommendations? Gym kit rather than overnight sized. Seen people riding with Dakine Helipro bags that seem to strap very close to the body - any better around?

Kriega...........

I've had the R35 for over 12 months now, I think it has covered over 25k miles, it's never leaked and has a 10 year warranty policy with it. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for....

I'd take a look at bothe the R25 and the R35...........

Kreiga

Yep got the 25 and the 35 Fantasic kit ,mine survived Enduro India so it will outlive most other Back packs .Very comfortable on ,and you do get some odd looks off the bike as it looks like a parachute ..........Base Jump anyone? :thumb

Camelbak Asymetrix

Any of the Camelbak Asymetrix range :thumb2

Here is the 15 http://www.gear-zone.co.uk/eshop/Camelbak-Asymetrix-15.html

I have the 25 ltr version which is great for a day pack. Has internal and external pockets, obviously the hydration system (which can be removed if not needed), a high vis rain cover and an iPod pocket at the top. Comes with a wide waiststrap and an 'airflow' back for comfort. Recommended :clap

The Helipro is a great rucksack - I've been using it for skiing and sometimes on bike. But it is not at all waterproof :( I second the comment on Krieg gear - I have one of their tailpacks and it is awesome - it lives on the bike and after 6000 miles shows no sign of wear and has not let ANY water in. Also, the Readtread guys in Spain use them for their loan kit and they hardly showed any wear as well as being really comfortable.

Another vote for Kriega - top kit :thumb

Hein Gerrrrrrrsomething normally stock them too if you want to take a look.

Boblebee

I've had one of these for about 7 years now and it's still going strong. It's the right height that it sits on the seat of the bike so no weight goes through me when seated. It's also 100% waterproof and, having a hard shell, good for delicate stuff like lap tops etc. :thumb2

IIRC Suzuki marketed them for a while as a back protector/rucksack but TBH I'm not sure I'd reccomend it for that.
