So how does the Rukka stuff size up in terms of fit please? Is it true to size, run small or any other foibles ?

Looking at some Rukka stuff from fcmoto . de at reasonable prices..

jackets and trousers are very good on size and consistancy between different models in the range and the fit is fairly generous. They look slightly bulky off the bike but are really comfortable when riding

With trousers there are 3 lengths and with a 32" inside leg the standard ones are perfect for me

Gloves are designed for pixies with tiny hands, the sizes are at least two sizes smaller than everyone elses ranges

That just about sums it up, IMHO

We sell lots of Rukka and the jackets and trousers all are true size. Gloves are also good and would say go for one size than you normally buy although the Rukka Virium glove with X-trait fit true to size. With most gloves you should try them on before you buy or make sure the retailer has no problems in swapping them.

Suggest you hang on before buying as I have a feeling there is going to be a UK price drop to bring the price more in line with the Euro pricing. Can't say more than that at the moment but will update as soon as I know more.

I bought all my Rukka gear from FC Moto and can recommend them - no problems with swaps if the sizes don't work out. Having said that, my only issue has been with gloves - I buy 1 size up on what I would buy in say a Held glove but my last buy were still tight at that - should perhaps have gone 2 sizes up but I suspect its a style issue - best try before you buy or be ready to pay to return and swap.

Very pleased to hear that we might soon be able to pay the same prices as the EU - its appalling how much extra we have to pay in the UK but the internet is slowly breaking the price control by the importer.

The price drop was passed onto us on Monday and we have already updated our website. http://www.bargainbikerbrands.com/m...thing-by-brand/rukka-motorcycle-clothing.html Reductions are not fantastic but does give us a chance to compete as long as you call us as it is difficult to advertise additional discounts.
We are always amenable to talking to customer to see if a deal can be done.
By the end of this week we will have put together a part exchange scheme that should also help.

Try and find somewhere local that will price match. You can get the right fit and if you have any problems later then it is so much easier to sort it out through a local trader.

I agree to keep it local and we always try to match prices. Pre and Post sale can sometimes be more important than saving a few extra pounds especially on higher valued products.
