Rukka - wet belly!

Are the longer cut ones ok (better)?

My jacket that results a wet middle region is the Vauhti:

I can't remember which trousers I attach it to. I still like it, even so.

Those lads with wet bellies - do you use your braces as well as a zip together?

Do the braces hold the trousers higher than they would without them.... I don't use braces any more because I normally just zip together - and I get a wet belly!

Has the jacket been water proofed with nikwax or similar ?

Have you considered buying a cepi ?

Zips to the trousers and gives level 2 chest/back protector, goes up to top of ribcage at front.

Transam will send two, of different sizes, to your local dealer for you to try out.

I bought the Rukka SRO Anotomic jacket & trousers. It got a real test yesterday when I rode from Just outside Chippenham to Buckingham Gate, London. Weather was horrendous early morning but the Rukka gear kept me bone dry & warm. Then did the return ride at 5pm, weather was just as bad, same again this morning from Chippenham to Abergavenny, but again when I got off at the other end I was bone dry. So great investment as far as I'm concerned

What are or is a cepi?

Cepi zips to trousers and make them look like salopettes, they have built in level 2 D3O back and chest protector, so it is a bit like a body armour vest.

It is a tad inflexible, until your body heat makes it softer, then I don't notice they're there.

Made for what middle aged Rukka designers thought that post-pubescent Scandinavian Metallica fans would like.

On that level it works well hence the bargain basement, for Rukka, price:D

Thankfully; neither of us can stand metallica. I saw them at Monster's of Rock, over rated. I'm sure my kids play them just to annoy me 😩

Although apparently due to its "colour" it is safe.

Personally if they can't see/hear the gsa I doubt the jacket will help.

Keeps her happy thought !

I concur:)

Hey folks I know this thread is a few years old. I have recently acquired a fairly new Rukka suit from a mate here who was getting out of biking. I'm having the same problem with an air draft that I can't solve. The suit in question is the Ecuado-R, it's not a cheap suit so am pretty passed off with this issue. I see from reading the thread that a possible solution was to add the Rukka cepi protection. Vest that zips to the trouser.
Did anybody try this and did it solve the problem I'd really appreciate any feedback as the last few days on the bike have been bloody cold and miserable.
Cheers folks

Many Rukka suits have a crotch strap, to help to hold the front of the jacket down. Does yours and are you using it?

Hey Wapping thanks for the reply ,just looked at the jacket and indeed there is a strap at the back. I just figured it out I'll give it a try thanks again
Cheers
