Having just read the manual for running the bike in, do you all agree with what it says?
I bought my bike from central in Glasgow on friday and had no option to ride the quick way (i.e. M?way and dual/C's) the 160 miles back up north as i was working later in the day - the cardinal sin, i know - running it at a constant 4k for 3 hours from 0 miles.
I have since done another 200 miles and this has been on single c/way 'A' roads and town and i have been giving it plenty of 'go' but no full throttle up to around 4k.
Has anyone any specific way of running in they'd like to share?
Probably due to my diary the first service will be alot closer to 800 miles than 400 miles and also due to workshop availability with bmw in Aberdeen - this should be early next week if they can do it - bugger if they cant as im told that itmust be STRICTLY no more than 800 miles.
Thanks
