Running in service

As in my riders Manual number 4 is bevel drive oil.

Yup, but the second page says ‘oil change’ and doesn’t specify which. The first and second running services both had the FD oil changed. I was asking to try and clear it up. Seems that some dealers do it, and some don’t.

oil is engine oil obviously,and bevel gear is well im sure you can work it out,why do the simplist of things become so bloody difficult on here sometimes,the maintenance schedule is really clear

If it is that obvious, why has it been changed previously during running in services? Why the face plant? If my question annoys you, just ignore it!

I changed mine at 10,000 kms when I did the engine oil and filter
Also greased the splines of the drive shaft

Will repeat at 20,000 kms too - can’t hurt after all
