Running on one cylinder

Guys,
Renewed the battery last week, not used the bike since.

Started it up this morning, right hand cylinder not firing ( exh pipe cold). Does cut in at higher revs, lots of misfiring & popping from the exhaust, but does not idle.

Ran perfectly before changing the battery.

Not started looking at it yet. What are the usual causes on this bike please ?

Errr people, you're probably not wrong ! Many thanks for the fast replies.

The r/h throttle cable not seated properly. But having re-seated it, the throttle cams are still not resting on their stops, especially the r/h one where there's about a 5mm gap, so now trying to find the place where the cable from the handlebars joins up with the cables to the throttle bodies, looks like it's under the battery somewhere.

Anyone been there recently ?

OK my fault, choke lever not fully off, just putting tank back on to try it out !
