Always worth moving the bike from side to side if you run out, Astles demo ran out with miles showing, wiggling gave me another couple of miles to safety!

If i got 40mpg out of mine i'd be pleased, there again its down to riding style and speeds your doing

It doesn't seem many mpg , this year on the Autobahns my twin cam sitting two up with full luggage at 85 to 90 was averaging over 46 mpg , when I filled up at 310 miles it took less than 29 lts.

At sensible speeds in the Alps ie sticking to the local speed limits, two up with only the top box it was easily averaging 56 mpg
