running out of petrol

ran out at 503 km tipped bike over on left side got another 5 km to the garage took 29.5 ltrs to fill works out at 49 mpg of fairley hard riding. Tank is modifed. JJH

Gauge reading high? In what way modified, filler spout drilled?

I was pushing my luck countdown had stoped 30 miles previously filler is driled JJH

Have had 340 miles without running out before but that was riding gently JJH
