Had the first service today on the 1200 GS. Booked a couple of weeks ago for one of their Saturday slots.

Got there at 0930, bike taken in, coffee served, idle chat offered.

They were meant to fit some bit and pieces at the same time but suppliers let them down by sending the wrong parts. Fowlers sent the wrong BOS can and no Y piece and BM sent the wrong covers. Very apologetic and constructive about it all.....

Mechanic went through the bits and pieces, bike running lovely and came out cleaner than how it went in.

How much? No charge at all as a "Sorry for the inconvenience". These guys picked up the tab even though poor supply wasn't their fault. I know it's only the filter and consumables BUT, they didn't have to offer it. Well done to Mike and Craig.

Top service if you ask me.

Good to see

Good to see that customer service is alive and well! Like you said they didn't have to do that but they did and probably profited into the bargain as you'll now go back there in the future. A bit like my service with CW I don't mind paying a bit more if I can see where the money goes.
