RYDALES (CAR)diff V BVM

RYDALES(CAR)diff V BVM

Gotta speak as I find here, and echo the words of ming and the spreader of muck,I've never had a problem with Rydale staff or their level of service, and I d like to think if I did have a problem they would try to sort it profesionally!

because the service is excellent not to mention the free coffee and air-conditioning and helpful staff.

.... especially those on reception in the car showroom bit, fat ugly girls need not apply LOL

Rydales have always been straight with me too, especially when my bike was being rebuilt after a crash when I must have tried their collective patiences a wee tad ...

Jim and Roger are under a lot of pressure in the service section mind, the sooner the staffing probs are sorted the better. Otherwise a top dealership IMHO.

I too would like to express my support to "Crampie" and the team at Rydales. I feel that we should support our local dealer (there are not many left around this area). We are all fully aware that there are some temporary problems at the moment but I'm sure these are being addressed. B.M.W. have recently rung around Rydale customers with a telephone survey. One can only hope this is in an effort to help address some peoples issues and give some backing to the Rydale team. If you have a problem contact "Crampie" directly as he will do his very best to sort it out. This will probably be the quickest way as well. I have found he is always willing to listen to the customer. No, I don't work there either.

Found above during a bout of insomnia. Due to recent circumstances (see rant forum) I unfortunately have to retract my above recommendation. Reading what I wrote, my endorsement has proved to be utter b*llocks.

I apologise if I might have misled anyone.

Hmmmm...chap likes the service his dealer has given him so much that chap posts good things about dealer...chap then has tiff with dealer..chap then turns churlish and churlish retracts nice things said about dealer......

churlish chap is chump methinks.....

Sorry Medicbike, I said it on another thread but this is chasing around so I'll say it again here....I've never even looked at Ryedales' www site let alone have any links to them but it does seem you're spitting your dummy out all over the place and Crampie does seem to be very reasonable in his responses....

might be totally wrong of course and if i am I'll apologise but for the time being, don't you think this is getting just a tad boring?

:o

Hummmmm............:(

Have to agree with Fanum on this one........You have presented two completely opposite stances ...........

No one knows what to believe now........

If giving evidence in a Court of Law, you'd be laughed out of the Place and I'm afraid........that just may happen here if you keep this up old Chum........

You've had a Disagreement over an issue, fine but hey, has it really affected your life in any sort of detrimental way, as in, has your health been damaged, have you actually lost money yet?

If you don't like how you've been treated.......walk, that's the best way to show your displeasure..........:)

By all means tells us about it but then to keep going on and on over what is a personal dispute........it's becoming a wee bit.........:cockeye

I have had a difference of opinion with some dealers in the past, but have never burnt my bridges with them, you never know what the future holds........

I've never been to Rydales but as I said yesterday, I have just recently dealt with 'Crampie' via email and he has offered me an excellent deal on a Helmet. He has dealt with me in a maner I had hoped for and I've not been let down .

He answered my emails within a very reasonable length of time and has carried through on his offer.......He's done "what it says on the Tin".......can't ask for more.

If he had quoted a deal that I wasn't happy with, it would have been thanks, but no thanks, end of story,!

Time to move on me thinks...........:D

rydale v bvm

I have to add my opinions to this question of whos best "bvm v rydale".I think theres no contest, having almost being ripped off by rydale and then expieriancing bvm's excelent profesional service,i think BVM is far far better.
So much so in fact BVM is 55miles further away than Rydale from me and i'm willing to go futher to get the service all customers should get who part with their hard earned cash.

sorry to read this, I would be interested to know what we did wrong.

I spent two whole hours on Saturday calling round various BMW dealers getting pricing on various BMW clothing, none of them had my size in stock except one who offered a huge discount on it (the joys of being a BFB) discounts ranged from 10% up to 15% and as high as 17.5% and for the huge jacket they couldn't sell a nice discount of 20%

So living on the edge of Cardiff I rang Rydale last and explained my predicament and that I'd sooner spend my money with them cos they are local and get offered less discount than from most of the other dealers that I had called.

I find that quite worrying and as I said then if I can buy it cheaper elsewhere I will, and I will also remember it when buying a new Motorcycle and any other bits I require

Why is this ? Do Rydale assume because I live in Cardiff I'm not willing to travel elsewhere to buy stuff ? OR is it that I dress like a bum and look like I don't have 2 pennies to rub together ?

On the other hand the staff are friendly enough when I visit there and seem to be getting to know me a little better at last.

I think it sad that I should need to go there and try and force them to price match when they should be offering me good deals anyway ? Not quite the way I do business usually :)
