Great first rally for me,weather made it even more interesting!
Hats off to you guys on the big bikes, getting them round in those conditions must have been tough.
Roll on keilder!

+1 from me! :thumb
Glad it wasn't as dusty as last year.
What do you need most when you are suffering from a loss of confidence? The organisers to give you "13" as your race number. :blast
Moly, you passed me just before the check point on the last lap, didn't half hurt when I stepped off the bike 'cos I thought I'd stopped!
Usual superb event.

i am sorry i try not to fill people in when i pass as the mh p 2 is a seriouse bit of kit and i am aware of the roost, i was on a bit of a mission playing catch up, after melting a moose on saturday ,didnt spot it till sunday, and changing that for an inner tube, then ripping that to bits then having to get back and put another tyre and moose back on again ,so it was eventfull ,to say the least!!!! say hello next time mm

Rydale thanks

Can I add my thanks to all the organisers and helpers at the rally. Really well run event. Especially the marshals who helped me and my very heavy bike out of the deep ruts.(twice embarrassingly). With out you I would still be there.
Technical Query for those more experienced than I. How do you get a wheelbarrow full of very wet very dirty riding gear into the washing machine without the wife finding out?
BHP

I have just jet washed the bike and my gear - took 3 hours!

Great event and look forward to the others! Well run.

Credit to all the guys taking the big bikes around. The special test was tight on a little enduro bike let alone a 950/GS

6 hours and counting ... cleaning, repairing and working out what bits i've lost on the way round:P new front and rear pads totally demolished on day 1 ... thats a first for me ... now i know what the squealing was:blast

+1 - Great event, really enjoyed it but it was a tough one. To everyone who was in the Big Bike Rally Challenge "Well Done - a fantastic effort" - it was certainly a bit of a challenge on the bigger bikes.

And it's only 2 weeks to the next one - gulp! Loads to do.

aaahhhhh what you do first is fill plastic dust bin full of water and persil shove it all in ,leave it till shes gone to work ,drag it all out after a soaking the shove it in the machine the no ones the wiser !!!! (untill washing machine repair bloke comes and drops you in on a call out) mm b t w it was tough on that long shitty down hill with no brakes looked impresive before scattering the marshall at the bottom !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I can dig the air box out from under all the cr*p twigs and pine needles
I will try somthing between now and the Beacons. Look forward to seeing you there.
