Need really quick advice. Trying to fit SW Motech engine bars. Done the right hand side, gone to do the left and the screw fitting under the tank area has been rounded off , ( brought bike second hand ) Its a 1200 gs and i think its a T27 size head. Any really quick idiotproof ways off getting it out, as cant ride around with only one side on!!!
Help help help as dont want to end up not being able to get it out

pretty much standard practice AFAIK. i don't know what screw it is so it may not be supported sufficiently, so check it's not on some flimsy bracket.

i take it you can't get mole grips on the head?

its on a decent fitting. the right hand side had a ready threaded hole., the left has utilised the same hole on its side to hold a clamp bracket on some form of pipe leading down to front of gearbox. i think this may require knocking in a bigger tool (!!!!) as you say

ta for the tip, it worked!!!!. Case of a deep breath and a hammer, and voila job done,
