Does anyone know of any luggage, ideally top box that can be fitted to the 2018 S1000R, I believe that the tail unit is very similar to the S1000SS

I am fairly certain that Ventura will do something for it

Not the most elegant of luggage i will admit but it just works and works well

If you can ascertain that the tail units are the same and if you want to go down the excellent Ventura route, I have some Ventura L arms for sale.

In a similar way, I have some excellent soft luggage that mated to my HP4 (same as the S1000RR, body wise) in a very unobtrusive and easy way. I’d sell that at half price.

The single support rods (one each side) that the soft bags slide onto can be removed easily, leaving the bike’s lines unaltered when the bags are off. Or just leave the rods on. They weigh nothing and are not ugly.

Went into Lind yesterday to return a faulty S7 lid and came out with my third S1000R. Perhaps I’ll grow up next year. Anyhow: they now have a range of soft bags and throw over style panniers that may be worth your consideration.

I have passed on details to my mate, he does not want the side bag option as the luggage is preferred to act as a backrest for his pillion wife.
