On Saturday 12th June I will be riding to Sammy Miller museum (www.sammymiller.co.uk) from Brands Hatch leaving approx 09:00 to get to SM approx 13:00 for a BBQ. If you would like to ride with me then please let me know. I will meet you outside of the main gates to the race circuit.
There is a car raceing going on that day so I am sure that you will be able to spot the motorcyclists there - see below for more details.
If anybody does come along with me then we will not be riding with the riders mentioned below.
If you live nearer to Sammy's and would like to meet us and KAMG at the museum then please pop along to help celebrate the KAMG's birthday celebrations
My local IAM bike group, Kent Advanced Motorcyclists Group, are celebrating their 30th birthday this year with a Ride Round Britain Tour, with approx 18 riders, for 5 days visiting IAM regions within England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
We were the first IAM motorcycle group and was setup by a few key members who wanted to take their motorcycling skills and experienced further and let others benefit from them. These founding members are still involved within the group today.
The Kent group became so big and popular that it expanded it split into a few the KAMG and EKAM (East Kent Advanced Motorcyclists).
I will be doing another posting within all UKGSer sections to advertise the 302010 Ride Round Britain Tour.
