Anyone got a picture of a Sargeant Seat on a Red GSA by any chance, just trying to work out how it would look.. There don't seem to be many pictures around on the Sargeant website.

Thanks for any help in advance,
Rob :thumb

And it's very comfortable.

And you can take the pillion one off separately.

Black with silver piping ......... with the M-Sport badging on the front.

Thanks.. very helpful Andy! :thumb2

Like the 'M' badge thing I've seen, very smart.

Thinking of maybe the red piping. By chance anyone know what the score is if they're special orders, or delivered from stock.. how long they take to be made/delivered etc?

Bought a seat just before Xmas, delivery and service was first class and really quick 2 days from order. Best to ring the Guy's down there first to see what their stock holding is and mention that you need it for an Adventure, different fitting than a normal GS.

I thought they were the same. A couple of years ago when I had a 12GSA I bought a second hand Sargent seat off this forum from a guy with a 'standard' 12. It fitted perfectly.

Unfortunately when I sold the GSA I then sold the seat on here:blast. Now I'm thinking of a 2010GSA I may need to buy another :tears !!!

I have a front Sargent seat on my red GSA with red piping bought it second hand on here just before crimbo. The red piping matches very well with the red paint.

got mine recovered and gel inserts £160 the pair all told

did 4000 miles in 14 days last sept no problem, lot cheaper than a sargent and looks good with yellow pipeing

Also purchased front and rear Sargents for xmas, not had chance to go out and test yet, but ANYTHING has to be better than the stock ones after 2 hours.

I went for the red piping for my red GSA, will look to put some images on at the weekend to show how it looks, absolutely fine I beleive!

Hi Guys
New to this forum

I am planning to buy very soon new BMW 1200 gsa here in Dubai UAE..Unfortunately we have very limited info and resources regarding after market accessories for bikes here..and the aftersales service leaves much to be desired..

my problem is the seat height,, the lowest setting is still to high for me this is on the new 2010 model 1200GSA... however I was told today that the 1200 GS low seat fits the GSA and gives a lower setting
Is this true?
OR
Is the Sargeant Seat lower seat better and more suitable for my height
If I change seats I also need seat for the wife at the back...

by the way I am 170cm tall and 90 kilos

any info would be great

For £562 for a set of seats I would rather get off every hour !!!

£1,430.44 to have them heated ??????????????

The disadvantage of having a GSA tank. It means you absolutely MUST not get off until its empty.

Another option, possibly cheaper, would be to have the right leg amputated. :augie

The low GS seat option fits up to and including the 09 GSA but I have no idea about the new 2010 bike. If they are the same then yes it will fit. The low Sargeant seat should fit as well but it isnt as low as the low GS seat. Well it is but it is wider (your legs are forced further apart) so you still need longer legs to reach the ground. Its the low sargeant I have and it does make a difference over the stock high seat but I still cant get my feet flat with 31-32" inside leg.

Sargent seats

I had sargent seats on my 56 plate gsa, they swapped over to my 09 gsa no problems shame i didnt like the newer bike, the seats are good but not sure if they are 500 quid good, good luck.

thanks marki gs

will get the wife to measure the inside leg and see
its a bit of a delema having ducks diease sometimes
