Sargent Seats for 12GSA

Tested mine today for about a 300 miler.

Started out harder than I thought it would be but I liked the shape.

After 100 miles it was already noticably more comfortable. At about 175 miles it was better still. By the time I got home, just under 300 miles, I was already totally sold. It's perfect for me. Nice blend of seating position and firmness.

One additional thing I noticed -

I have an and Adventure so I knew the seat would be a little lower. This also lowers your center of gravity. That coupled with the extra "feel" of the road from a more firm seat gave me more confidence in the twisties.

I had been riding today with the arch of my feet on the pegs. When my boots started touching down I placed the ball of my feet on the pegs. My boots were still touching down by the small toe. I couldn't belive how far I was leaning. Then on one left hander I pushed a little too hard and the rear started comming around. It was easy to control with the wide bars but...I wouldn't want to do it all the time.

A quick glance back in the mirror and I saw a black streak around the apex of the turn. I thought you could only do that on a sportbike:clap :clap

Cancel my last optimism, what arrived yesterday from NN, dispatched last Thurs was the side stand enlarger with a dispatch note stating that the seat would be dispatched in approx 5 weeks.:blast

I was looking forward to breaking it in at the weekend.:(

No much Nippy about that Norman!!

Ah I thought you were a bit lucky with that! Mine took just over a month to arrive. It'll be worth the wait though :thumb
