Sargent Seats now available.

For those that are uncomfortable on the OE seat, Sargent Seats are now available at the Adventure Bike Shop at £550. Having ridden 15 hours over the last 3 days, for me the seat is a vast improvement.
Is that heated ?

I've had a gander at their site and it looks as though they offer either an OEM heating option or their own version if your bike is not already equipped.
Will certainly be putting an order in unless I hear good reports about the Wunderlich offering.

Not showing for me on their site unfortunately that link just takes me to the main page and if I search Sargent I don’t see one for the 1300 :(

"They all do that Sir....a painful seat is a feature across the entire BMW range of overpriced shit." :D

(It's why I have had a secondhand Sargent seat on my last two secondhand BMW's)

As much as I'd love the Sargents, over a grand for both (I'd have to get both or it would bother me) is just not gonna happen, for now. I've done 8500 miles with the standard one, I'll persevere for now :ROFLMAO:

Top tip, if you go for a heated seat (stock BMW or aftermarket) don't let the ferry companies strap your bike down across the seat....... Raise the seat and let them strap across the frame beneath it.

It sounds obvious, but having paid good money for a used heated Sargent for my 1250, it was bloody annoying to have to repair the heating element myself. The former keeper insisted it was fine last time he used it before sale, until I asked him if he had been on a Ferry in the meantime.

Sadly, the heating controller for mine got water ingress in a deluge and has died a death, yet more hassle/expense to sort out.
