Sat 1st Nov - Thetford Green Lane Rideout - Novice/Big trailie friendly

Textiles should be fine. The route isn't particularly muddy so you shouldn't get very mucky. :)
The end time depends on how well people are doing really, but 3-4 as a rough estimate.

Should be enough for a fun day. :)

Just seen this thread Adam so I'll be along on an R80G/S.
Looking forward to it.
Cheers

PS
Noddy, can I borrow my boots back?

Great fun thanks Adam. Proof just how good these GS' are. A 40 year old novice on a Y2K 1150GS fitted with very well worn Conti Trail attacks and I managed to get around. And I didn't fall off, not after the first two times on the first stage:o
It was nice to meet some Tossers, I seriosly enjoyed it, the pace was perfect and it was a great introduction to off road antics.
I will spend a couple of hours cleaning my bike tomorrow.:thumb

Cheers guys, that was a great day- thanks to Adam for organising, and to everyone else for general fun and p***taking.

I only managed to bin it once - stopped, got off the bike, got back on, moved off, fell over :blast.

I did enjoy myself despite binning it a few times  , but at least I do a good superman impression as I jump ship(bike) :D and it's a good job the ground was soft as there was no damage to either me or the bike :thumb2

Great day, thanks to Adam and all who turned up for the picking up a GS in the mud competition. :D Don't have a clue who won but I recon about 20 pickups in all. Bit of minor damage, few achey limbs but all with a smile and laugh.

Few samples of my on the move snaps from today will be posted in the ride out section above. Sorry but not to Trevtuck's quality pictures but enough for a reminder.

Thanks guys, great day out, proved what I suspected - bike has far more ability than me! - Thanks for arranging Adam.
Look forward to the embrassing photos!

Thanks Adam for organising and to everyone for their company. Cheers, Andy

Thanks Adam for organising the day and also thanks to everyone else for making it a lot of fun!

I think I got the award for dirtiest jacket & jeans (the Twat Suit) after my first off - landing in a great big puddle about 500 yards from the start!!

The bike, jeans & jacket were all pressure washed today and now look as good as new.

I was pleased with the R80G/S the way she kept starting first time after being repeadedly dropped (well three times actually) but I really think one of those KTM's were the best bikes for yesterdays excursion.

Adam is there any chance of you putting the trails we used onthe site?

Cheers all
Ray
