sat nav bracket

Just another question- Is there room to stash the extremely long cable neatly behind the clocks or somwhere? Got the BMW bracket, and the canbus connector... don't get the bike until next wednesday :(

I powered mine directly from the battery so I used all the long cable routing it back round the tank to the battery/starcom etc that said i would think you could hide the excess coil of cable over to the right (as you sit on the bike) and zip tie it to the frame. Theres not really anywhere behind the clocks that would look neat though, Cheers james :thumb

Thanks James :thumb2 I've just soldered a canbus connector to the power cable , but left on the fuse anyway. i believe the canbus power point is somewhere near the headstock, and it should just plug straight in :)

Bryn, the canbus thing is near the headstock, just cut the cable from the sat nav

as a point mate, what sat nav you got, because bmw do a connector for garmin, that is a direct fit to thre sat nav port on the bike.

wont work on tomtom though!!!
