I'd like to try and pick up a Savanna 2 jacket to wear in the winter when riding my old airhead. I have a Rallye 2 Pro jacket now but I don't have access to an older Savanna 2 to see if the jackets fit the same with respect to size ( euro 58 = Euro 58 etc)

So, if anyone has owned both and can comment on it........

Thanks in advance

I have Savanna 2 kit, its feckin freezing in winter with absolutely NO insulation properties even with the goretex liners fitted. Layering is essential.

Not owned a Rallye2 but three mates wear them and they look much warmer and less soft (oo'er missus) but also less abrasion resistant.

Think long and hard before committing to buy Savanna2 purely for winter gear, did I mention how cold it is ????

Very nice in a UK summer without liners and all vents open though. Used it whilst living in Western Australia in 45 degree heat whilst others rode in 'thongs'(flip flops) and shorts, hot but safe.

Crashed in it too on a wet roundabout at 30 mph, virtually unscathed so still using it.:thumb2
