Saving pics

I'm trying to save some stills off mp4 movies.

I can copy them, but then all I can do is paste onto word.

Is there any way these pics can then be saved as a picture file? or straight from the paused movie shot?

The most basic way is to open paint - once you copied the image, you can 'paste as new image' in Paint, and then save as a jpg

Now to see if I can post...........

Edit - works but loses a bit of size.

I use a program called "Gom Player" as my default media player, within the various menus there is a "capture" option either individual frames or a "Burst option" numbers and time are selectable for this capture and best of all its free.
Oh and it saves as jpeg's
