There are two versions of headset for the Scala Rider. I ordered a replacement headset which came with a stereo input to the headset hardware. This version also has larger speakers and I found them a lot better than the standard ones that came with the unit. If you connect the stereo input the sound is really quite good (considering) so it may not be the speakers as the limiting factor when using Bluetooth connection.
Ye i have the stereo ones as well, Spoke to a guy at work he says speaker placment is very important to get a good sound so i will move them a few mil a see if there is any diffrence

Ok found this link ADV Rider that gives you step by step on how to do this mod http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=442304 so now i have earfuze earplugs(the ones that have the putty stuff that goes round the speakers and in your ear then turns to like rubber) connected to the scala the sound quality is great and hardly any wind noise ipod on half volume at 70mph
