I did an upgrade to version 4.1 on my Zumo 660 last night and found the bluetooth connection to my headset had dissappeared. I went through the steps to add device, getting as far as seeing the device on screen, however it fails to connect.

I've repeated the procedure by also disconnecting the phone from the zumo, trying to add the headset again, all to no avail.

Has anyone out there had this problem and found a fix.

Thanks

Just been pissin around with this prompted by your post.

It recognised the Scala but when connecting seemed to knock the Scala out of discovery mode.

I found when I went to the BT audio button it gave me about 4 blank options as well as the bottom 'add new device'. I deleted one of the blanks which got rid of this screen and I was then able to connect.

Hope this helps :nenau

Cooperman

You're a star - what more can I say.

Full comm's back up and running.

Thanks very much indeed.

Also been having problems of loss of my Scala on Zumo 660.
Garmin's website and My Dashboard are bith useless -one says I need a software upgrade, the says not !
Anyhow, typical of Garmin software, but the advice above from Cooperman is far more useful. Didn't work first time, but secong time it seems to be OK. Switched off and on a couple of times and still working OK.
Thank you Cooperman - why is Garmin Software so crap ?
Road Trip -total waste of space !
Their own internal software , in my opinion, has been all over the place of late, with so many problems -how do they manage it ? Hope I see someoine from Garmin tomorrow at the Excel Bikeshow !!!

Couldn't agree more with your sentiments. The support call answer I got from them asked for a re-install of the software and a master re-set, advising that all my data would be lost.

Considering the amount of equipment they sell I would have expected a bit better service than that, particularly on a basic install that must be quite a common situation.

Moan aside, I still like the kit, it's just you need to be able to trust it 100%

Regards

Your device should be at the bottom of the list, just move the cursor up to select one of the blank entries and then press the delete button. This should sort the problem.
