Ever done level 1 & 2 at BMW off-road school Rasher? They teach how to manage these types. Ride with Chris Evans , Simon Pavey and Julian at Motocadia and you'll pick up these skills in no time !!
 
I started sweating just watching it... Just goes to show a large part of it is psychological with me - once I have done it I stop worrying and just get on with it.:rob

Should be going to the Yamaha one later in the year, I think it is a similar sort of gig but a load less cash.

Not sure if I want to use a light Enduro bike for max fun, or take a Tenere to see how much of a handful the big beast is.

Never intend doing anything difficult, or at least not with a bike worth more than a grand / designed for regular crashes / belonging to someone else.
 
You'd be really surprised what these big beasts can do Rasher !! Try both 660 and 1200 and enjoy the Tenere Experience. Both schools are good and worth their money. The skills Simon Pavey and the guys teach might seem elementary initially, but get " out there " and they prove their weight in gold !! With the right skills, even the S-10 and GSA are actually deceptively agile. OK, except for slushy mud ( utterly butterly, as I call it ) , a heavy trail bike can do a huge amount ! Highly recommend it and hug grin factor.
 
yep these GS's CAN do a lot

That video looks just like Bullshit Way near Malaga (if youve ever done Torotrail or Dust Devils)

theres not much difference in the price between the yam an bm course really.

You should see some of the trails out near almeria if you think that's bad:thumb2
 
The lens on the 'Go Pro' helmet mountable cam has done more for rider's boasting rights in the pub than anything since, well......time began :blast
