Anti-mist Coating

If anyone knows how to get the coating off please speak up. The coating on mine has gone all opaque and 'wrinkly' on the lower half of the visor and I have now replaced it with a pinlock version from zsf (great service btw).
I would like to strip the old one of its coating, without damaging the visor, so that I have a usable spare.
There must be a way of doing this - some kind of solvent perhaps?

Well, I have now fitted the Pinlock visor to my C2 in an attempt to stop the misting and have been quite supprised by the result. I was slightly taken aback by the size of the Pinlock insert when it arrived from ZSF - it is a great deal smaller than the helmet visor and does create a visual distraction at the periphery of your vision. Also, I find the far right and left edges of the Pinlock quite distracting when you try and do a 'life-saver' or look behind as the two retaining studs get in the way of your line of sight.
However, it has stopped the misting and I am hoping that after a while I won't notice the edges of the Pinlock.
I do think however that it is an expensive item and is not exactly right for the C2 as it should be significantly bigger to improve its suitability.

I don't know what pinlock they use, but pinlock have released one called superbike, and it's about 1cm wider aperture than normal, you can get them from racevisors
