I bought a Schuberth S1 helmet a couple of weeks ago and all was fine until it rained yesterday.
Whilst it was drying I noticed the anti-fog covering on the inside of the visor was peeling from the lower edge.
Anyway, I popped it back to Helmet City this afternoon and the guy fitted a new one. The reason they peel is because the anti-fog coating covers the entire visor surface so when the visor is fully closed the rubber seal is in contact with it. When you then open the visor it pulls at the coating and lifts it from the visor. The replacement visors are not coated with the ant-fog covering where it would come into contact with the rubber seal.
I'll see how this new ones goes before I consider the Pinlock option.
