After many phonecalls to dealers and importers it became clear that for whatever reason the S1 pinlock visor isn't going to imported into the UK for anywhere near a reasonable price. The UK importers state that they are available to dealers at a special order price of £120.

One e-mail to louis and it was on order for about 80Euro, inclusive of delivery. It took 2wks to arrive from order placement.

Haven't used it on a run out yet, but it appears very difficult to mist up, unlike the "anti-fog" coating on the standard visor. I'll follow up with a further report once I've had a used it on a few cold, wet, winter mornings. So far the S1 has been left on the shelf in favour of my trusty Arai (with fogcity insert) for rainy days due to its shite anti-fogging performance.....hopefully this is soon to change.

For those of us that don't speak German, like me :) could you tell me how to find it on their site please.

Regards,

Charles

You don't have to speak German!! Just send an email to [email protected] requesting an order for a S1 Pinlock Visor - part number 9400168085. You should then get a e-mail back requesting a credit card number and delivery address. 2wks later, you should get your visor!! :thumb

S1 Pinlock

I paid 70€ in Germany in the summer, so the Louis price is very much on par, for UK delivery
Stuff the UK importers.........rip-off @ 180€ :mcgun :mcgun

....and you get it quicker than by "special order" in the UK. Fekkin rip off Britain :(

Tried the new pinlock visor out today. With the visor down and all vents closed there was no fogging whatsoever. A significant improvement on the standard fitment. I'd fully recommend.
