Scottish Six Days Trial

Hi Chaps,

stayed at the Lochy Caravan site over the weekend. Fab facilities, great camping ground and a wonderful view in the morning of Ben Nevis.

G.C.s pub offers fabulous food and drink.

Both Big Al and myself devoured 16 once steaks and I can honestly say it was the best steak I've ever had!

Good on you Gordon.

I'm loking forward to returning in September.

Regards

Kyle, lifted this from the programme.

Absolutely correct. Tom is the best butcher in Lochaber. :eyebrow
(Lets keep it in the family eh :D )

Iain, I’ll get him to hang one for you now, should be perfect for the last week in April

Yes he is? Don't know how many times he has done it exactly, but it is in the high ''Teens'', so between us we have a few SSDT under our belt.

Its now April its getting closer........now is it too late to get fit?????

fixed it for you !

:hapybnce: Been watching, watching mind, some of the local boys out doing just that over the last few months.

Talking of local boys, do you rate Gary Mac's chances this year ? not heard much about him over the last few months.
Thats if he can finish this year, fcuked his hand last year before the trial started.

He must be a TOSSER then, is he a member here

No, he finished in the top three two years ago, the best a Scottish rider has done post WW11 I believe.

Local rumour has it he bust a couple of bones in his hand in the Tail Race Inn at Kinlochleven, attempting to punch some-one the week before the SSDT last year.

Tosser ? Perhaps the other guy was ?

He rides pro now, was with Sherco 2 years ago, think its Beta now.
I wish him well.

There is probably only one winner in Scotland this yaer and it has to be Graham Jarvis, very hard man to beat in traditional trials.
But it only needs a couple of stupid 5's and at that level it puts you out of the reckoning.
Sure Gary has a chance, an excellent rider and on his home turf, he is riding next to me so maybe he will watch my line through the section and........................................avoid that route:P :P

Someone trying to contact you Scooby

This is Dakarnoway I`ve been looking on the UKGS`ers site and tried to reply to a post but failed so, I`ll put something on here and hope that Scooby gets to know about what I`m planning for the end of April!

Good Luck Scooby

Scooby, I’m guessing that you'll be heading north in the next couple of days, I hope the final preparations have gone well.
If you see some tosser attempting to get his car (a whiteish Mazda) into the Sherco setup gis a shout
Good luck and enjoy. I'll try and book some :sunshine for you.
