The 400x gets some good reviews, I’m seriously considering downsizing to the Triumph, 450 Himalayan or Guerrilla.I had a Scrambler 900 for a few days whilst my Rally Pro 900 was in for work. I didn’t quite like it, great for a couple of hundred miles around the Dales backroads. I wouldn’t want to ride long days or fast roads such as motorway or dual carriageway on it. I did have a sit on the 1200 but it just felt like a heavier version of the same bike. I quite fancy having a ride on the Scrambler 400. Mine is in again later this month so maybe.
What about the Royal Enfield Bear 650 ?The 400x gets some good reviews, I’m seriously considering downsizing to the Triumph, 450 Himalayan or Guerrilla.
Al.
That’s on the list as well, I do ride with a pillion so the extra 10/12 bhp may be the way I go, fortunately got both dealers within 10 miles of me.What about the Royal Enfield Bear 650 ?
Some Great reviews on YouTube
The 1200 is a different animal. Spent 4 hours on motorways on mine yesterday going down to the Kickback show and back, cruising between 70 and 90 in comfort.I had a Scrambler 900 for a few days whilst my Rally Pro 900 was in for work.
