Scrambling around Dumfries and Galloway

We’re just back from a few days away near Gatehouse of Fleet. I have not spent a great deal of time in Dumfries and Galloway so decided to take the Scrambler along and explore the area a little. It’s a stunning place with lots of quiet wee roads just suited to bimbling around on the Scram. The weather was not great but I managed to get a out a for a few runs and took the following pics

I was down there not long ago,with my landrover.I agree though ,lots of little roads ideal for a bike,Its an area i think a lot of folk bypass heading further north all the time.
Enjoyed the pics.
Do you swap the same luggage from bike to bike?

As did I. I would always head for the Highlands(still my favorite) or across to the Borders and only really passed though D&G if I was heading for the ferry but I'm really enjoying discovering wee roads and villages

Yes i bought a full set of metal mules from Johnny(HRH Oonyack) when I had my 1200. I now have MM racks for the Tiger, Scrambler and Tenere and swap the luggage between them. I have also recently bought a set of slim Ardcases from Redcap which will also fit on the MM racks giving me a less bulky option for short solo trips/shopping etc

Nice to see D&G getting a mention. Some very nice roads .... worth a visit.
