Being an idiot I scraped my offside pannier lid yesterday on a concrete post.

Its nor too bad and before I buy a new one can anyone suggets a way of repairing it?

Thanks,
Lloyd.

Don't see the point in buying a new one personally, it'll only get scratched again.

Put reflective sticker over it and forget about it

Just as a cosmetic quick cure.... it will look a lot better if you give the whole pannier a wipe with "Duck Oil" the wonder product for cleaning anything (except brake parts) but it works really well on black plastic. Available in spray or I buy 5 litre at a time, it is much cheaper in bulk.
This will not take the scratches out but hide them somewhat. Then just forget about them till next time!
good luck, regards,
Barrie

I lost one of mine last year - I saw it bouncing down the road in my mirror. The damage was superficial and after a set to with wet and dry paper and finished it off with kiwi black boot polish - it came up OK. It's by no means new but it's something I can live with.....I call it character :D
