Hi.
I am looking to get another screen for my GS. There are lots of alternatives including just replacing my GS screen for an adventure screen. (1250)

Can someone tell me the overall height of the ADV screen please ? (Top to bottom)
It then gives me something to work with.

My standard GS screen is 380mm bottom “V” to top middle or 450mm from bottom “V” to top extremities - where are the measuring points when looking at screens ?

Thanks all.

I’ve just replaced mine with the puig tourer and couldn’t be happier, although it does somewhat impede the visibility it takes all buffering away

Thanks,
I,m only short 5’6” so don't need any “touring” screens. Just want a little bit of extra wind protection, so am looking at standard height screens.

Rowle,
I've got a GSA screen going if you're interested.
Also got a little clip on extender too if needed
pm me if interested ☺

I have a tinted one of these on my GSA https://www.givi.it/my-motorcycle/product/bmw/r-1200-gs-adventure-14--18/screen/5124d
The size is pretty much identical to the standard BMW GSA screen (dimensions are shown in one of the pics), but half the cost. As it is the same size and shape, there is no real need for a brace.
One thing to be aware of with the GSA screen, is it is almost impossible to adjust at anything above 40 mph.

I'm only 5'8" and find the Puig touring perfect on it's lowest setting for 90% of my riding - most of my riding is with the visor up with me looking over the screen.

It's also wider than standard and offers greater protection.

Hi Mr Bean,
Do you need any screen braces with it ?
Thanks.

Yes, as with any other larger screen/add on I've tried.

In my opinion the Puig ones are best as the screen is not locked and can be adjusted on the move - up to around 50mph or so.

This is a photograph from a recent for sale thread, copyright Fluffmeister:D he helpfully provided the dimensions you seek.
